anonymous and potent traces of immurement can suggest a narrative
event, even if they reveal little of the particular circumstances.
They are the vestiges of repetitive everyday acts, of the inhabitation
of the space, of temporal processes, and of the building’s interaction
with those who inhabit. They were collected and collated from a range
of additional institutional sites as access to the former asylum became
difficult as the redevelopment work progressed. |
